A lawyer for Pfc. Bradley Manning, the Army intelligence analyst accused of leaking secret government files to WikiLeaks, has complained that his client was stripped and left naked in his cell for seven hours on Wednesday.

Julian Assange, the flamboyant founder of WikiLeaks, is living on a supporter s 600-acre estate outside London, where he has negotiated $1.7 million in book deals and regularly issues defiant statements about the antisecrecy group s plans.

Speaking from outside Ellingham Hall, the country home outside London where he is under what his lawyer calls mansion arrest, Julian Assange, the WikiLeaks founder, expressed concerns on Friday for the mental health of Bradley Manning, the U.S. Army private who was detained by the military after he apparently confessed to a former computer hacker that he was the source of leaked video and documents published by WikiLeaks and news organizations this year.
