Excavations deepen Israeli-Palestinian divide – 16 Apr 09
Israeli authorities are digging tunnels under East Jerusalem, as part of its takeover of Palestinian neighbourhoods. Palestinians fear that the very foundations of their lives could be under threat from the tunnels that cut close to the heart of what Muslims call the Haram al-Shareef, known as the Temple Mount to Jews and sacred to both.
