DACA program faces uncertainty amid 2020 election
On Monday, the Trump administration announced new guidance for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. The new guidance denies any new applicants from applying for DACA along with making current DACA recipients renew their permits every year instead of every two years. DACA recipients are also not able to leave the U.S. without permission.
